Steamfitter-pipefitters are skilled tradespeople who lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair piping systems that transport fluids, slurries, and gases across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They are the only trade specializing in the planning, design, and installation of both low- and high-pressure steam systems.
Our classes prepare apprentices to handle complex job sites, including oil refineries, paper mills, nuclear power plants, manufacturing facilities, and the automotive industry. Pipefitters work on some of the highest-pressure and high-temperature systems, requiring a strong understanding of scientific principles to ensure work is completed safely and accurately.
