What Happens Next

  1. Complete your application here. This will include uploading and submitting all required documents.
  2. Your application and information will go to the PPATKS office for processing. Nicole (nlawrence@ppatks.org) will be contacting you with instructions on our testing process. PPATKS cannot guarantee that testing will happen each month.
  3. Once you have a date and time for testing scheduled, you will attend at either the Topeka training facility, Frontenac training facility or our main training center located in Wichita.
  4. When the office receives your test scores (pending passing), you will be contacted to provide a drug screen.
  5. Once passing the drug screen, our office will reach out to you by certified mail with the day and time of your interview. This information cannot be adjusted as you will be interviewed by JATC board members.
Please note that certified mail needs a signature to be accepted. If you are not home, you will need to pick up your letter at the post office.
  6. All scores are tallied by a third party. At that time, you will receive another letter letting you know your final score and what to expect next.
