Building exterior of Local Union 441 Apprenticeship Training of Kansas Two people using equipment

We’re excited that you’re interested in learning more about our program and the opportunities it offers!

An apprentice in the plumbing and pipefitting industry learns the trade by working alongside a qualified journeyman, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of plumbing, pipefitting, welding and HVAC. Apprentices also gain experience with tools and equipment such as pipe machines and cutting torches and trainers. With many subjects of classes, you are sure to gain the optimal experience in your field of study.

By joining as an apprentice, you are committing to a five-year program that includes on-the-job training as well as in-class training. Tuition fees are minimal, and it is your responsibility to make sure it is paid on time each year. Please take note that by joining Local Union 441, your union dues are not the same as training fees.
