Plumbers & Pipefitters Apprenticeship Training of Kansas (PPATKS) is committed to developing highly trained professionals in the plumbing, pipefitting, welding, and HVACR industries. Our apprenticeship program blends structured classroom instruction with paid, on-the-job training, giving apprentices the opportunity to earn competitive wages while mastering their trade.

Over the course of our five-year program, apprentices work alongside experienced journeymen in all phases of the plumbing and pipefitting industry. From industrial construction installations to residential and commercial projects, apprentices gain real-world experience while building technical knowledge and practical skill.

Training includes blueprint reading, drafting, trade-related math, and code requirements, along with hands-on experience using industry tools and equipment such as pipe machines and cutting torches. By the time apprentices complete the program, they are fully prepared to meet local standards and perform safely and confidently in the field.

If you’re ready to invest in your future, PPATKS provides the training, mentorship, and opportunities to help you succeed.
